It's funny how we've all become pros at dodging real conversation. Like @pathall mentioned, getting lost in our phones lets us pretend the quiet isn't weird. We're not just checking the news anymore, we're actively choosing screens over people. That old social glue is basically just us wiping our phones clean now. Everyone's got this unspoken rule that a glowing rectangle means "do not disturb." Pretty soon, we'll need an app just to remind us how to chat face-to-face.
