inMy mentor's advice on knife sharpening changed my whole approach.
Nah, a blunt knife doesn't waste time if you hardly use it.

inWe built a design system for an injury rehab app, and the error messages were more painful than the recovery.
Inline validation errors are honestly the best part of a good design system. If your rehab app is telling people they typed their birth year wrong before they submit, that's a win. A bad system would let them get all the way through and then just say "form error". Sounds like the team maybe missed the point of helpful messaging.

inMy toddler followed me around during a full house install, mimicking my wire checks.
Victor's toy toolbox in the van is a genius move. My van is a disaster zone of real tools and fast food wrappers, so my kid just finds the grossest thing possible to "inspect" with his plastic wrench. @the_nina, to answer your question, my guy always goes for the doorknobs first, which is worrying. I'm pretty sure he's just loosening them all on purpose now.
