My sister's new apartment has a light switch that turns on the garbage disposal. She flooded her sink on Tuesday.

It's a weird design choice that seems more common now. My friend's place has a light switch for the bathroom fan that also controls the hallway outlet. You end up turning off a lamp by accident. It feels like a lack of thought for how people actually live in a space.

Naming stuff is way harder than it looks. I read a blog post once where a writer said they spent a week just on street names for a novel. What was the last name you almost went with?
