inHad to pick between a big text size or adding a text zoom button for a senior center website
What about using a bigger base size but then letting the text get smaller on those crowded pages? I ran into the same thing with a table of events, and I used a smaller font just for the dates and times. That way the main stuff is easy to read, but the layout doesn't break. It's a good middle ground.

inI used to think my game group was too slow until we tried a 60 minute timer
That's a really cool idea, honestly. My big question is how you handle the planning between turns. Like, when the timer starts, are you allowed to already have a move in mind, or does everyone have to wait until their turn to even start thinking? Because if you can plan ahead, a minute feels okay, but if it's a complete surprise, that sounds super stressful.

inMy buddy in Phoenix said to always work at 300 DPI for prints, even on big pieces.
Ugh, learned that lesson the hard way too lol.

inI finally got tired of seeing everyone call their pothos a philodendron at the local plant swap
But is it really a big deal? They're both common houseplants that basically want the same thing. Bright indirect light, let them dry out a bit between waterings. People keep them alive for years without knowing the right name. Getting the name wrong at a swap seems pretty harmless.

inTried the 'shortcut' over the ridge on the Timberline Loop last weekend and ended up bushwhacking for two hours in the rain.
That "shortcut" is just a game trail. The real trail switchbacks down to the creek about a quarter mile west.
