I was finishing a dark mode for a client's dashboard last Thursday. I checked everything, the deep grays, the accent blues, it all looked perfect. Then I previewed it on my phone and the status bar was this blinding white rectangle at the top. I completely forgot to set the meta theme-color tag. Had to scramble to add that single line of code before sending the final build. Has anyone else been burned by missing that one tiny detail?

We started with 'primary' and 'secondary' but then needed shades for alerts, disabled states, and dark mode, which spiraled into endless debates over names like 'neutral-700' versus 'gray-cool-mid'.
